Paragard?

Anyone on it? How do you like it? I dont want any more children and they wouldn tie my tubes so yeah lol

I have it and I like it. I don't have to worry about hormones and all that jazz.

I have it,. I didn't want anything with hormones and I haven't had any issues with it at all.

I've had it since October, got it after having DD.

I love it. Haven't had any real issues.

My first couple periods were a little heavier and crampy but not a huge difference.

With the heavy periods, mine stayed heavy for a year afterwards, but I also had issues with my period before. But it's a lot better since I started working out.

I love it. I've had it since Feb. 2011. My periods were a bit heavier at first but now are back to normal. I love not getting moody from it. I recommend it.

Why wouldn't they tie your tubes? Especially since you have 3 children. Normally...well at least in Ohio...they'll tie your tubes if you're older than 24 and have at least 2 children. I'd be mad! lol.

I've heard back and forth stories about Paragard so I'd look into it and maybe talk to your doc beforehand. All these things have nasty serious side effects.

I had it for almost 5 years. It was fine the first few years, but I started having awful periods and period like breakthrough bleeding half way through my cycle. I had it removed in January.

i had it for one year and absolutely hated it. my periods were insanely heavy and the cramps were so bad i couldnt move i had to take percocet a couple times to get the cramps to go away. it also took a year for me to get pregnant after getting it out. im not sure if if it took so long because of having the iud but a good friend of mine said her sister couldnt get pregnant for about a year after having it removed too and i guess her doc told her thats not uncommon for some women or something

cus im only 22 and only gave birth to 2 out of 3 of those kids lol i thought each state was 22 and 2 kids guess not. here is 25 and 2 kids

That's a joke! I think it's stupid anyways. It's YOUR body, if you know you don't want anymore children then it should be YOUR choice when you get your tubes tied! I'm being a surrogate for a couple then want one more after so I'm hoping by that time I'm "old enough" to have my tubes friggin' tied!!

Here it's 25 with at least two kids of the opposite sex. Bullsmurf, I say. I'm just gonna go over to Minnesota and have it done.

I've had mine since may, like it so far. Periods are a little heavier & I cramp a little at random times, but I had natural labor twice so its nothing lol.

& it's like 23 & 3 kids here (I think) have you though about Essure?
