Haemorrhoid Cream says "Not for use in Pregnancy"

My Midwife gave me a prescription for Haemorrhoid Cream after I had a scare with my pregnancy (I was bleeding, and thioght it was baby). But, when I took the cream home and read the pamphlet, it said that it should never be used in pregnancy. I just wanna know what I should do, not use the cream, or use the cream?
Has anyone else had a similar experience?

I wouldn't use it.
