agree especially if you have people traveling for it or they have little kids that would be starting school soon. Mine is August 19th and they will be out soon (if not already out) since I have friends from Virginia and family from Michigan coming in. I wanted to also be sure to give my local friends that are teachers and have kids a decent heads up in hopes it won't conflict with back to school time to much

I sent mine out 5 weeks in advance, so people have enough time to RSVP or get time off work if need be! Mine is next month as well!

I did mine today, and my shower is August 11th.

I'm 26+1 and my baby shower is going to be aug 10th. i sent mine out july 5-8. my invites came in packets of 8 so i did the out of state ones first then the yes/maybe ones and then just started going down the list.

mine had to be on a saturday and 99% of all my guest were out of town so i did a month out from the RSVP date. I'm having my shower Aug 25th did the RSVP date for Aug 11th and i sent mine out July 11th.

We sent ours out last week and the first shower is Aug 12.
