Taking BC on time

Is the only reason you have to take BC at the same time every day to prevent pregnancy or is it because of the hormones in them?

It's to keep the hormones at a stable level.

Ok. I wasn't thinking and took my first dose today around five which would def not be when I am taking them usually. Is it ok if I wait tomorrow to take the other one at midnight (I am always up and at home by then) or should I just call the pharmacist and ask?

Take it everyday at the same time!!! I didn't, and that's why I am having a baby boy in October

The thing is that I am not using it for birth control. I am using it to control the heavy bleeding I am having for my period.

Okay, you should be fine. Just making sure to take it daily, around the same time   Take the missed dose as soon as possible.
