Thanks ladies, I do have those arm and hammer scented bags someone got me, I think I'll just use those and if I want to get a diaper pal later I will. Thanks!

I only used diaper pails with my first baby. We had a Diaper Genie first, and it was just a pain in the ass. More than once, we went out to get the refills and couldn't find them on the shelves. The smell was awful. It didn't mask the odor of the diapers at all, just added a cloying perfumey smell to it.
After a couple months, we went out and bought a Diaper Champ. It was marginally better since we didn't have to buy any specific bags for it, and getting them in the bag was easier. But it still stunk. It was put away for good once my daughter was old enough to start putting her toys in it.
For my last 2 kids, I've only put the diapers straight into the trash can. It gets taken out more often, so it doesn't start to stink. Much, much better than lugging heavy bags of baby smurfe that have been fermenting for at least a week.
