Baby Bath Advice

posted 15th Jul '12
Our apartment doesn't have a tub- only a stand up shower, and DS is starting to get a little cramped in his baby bath tub. I'm just looking for some ideas about what other mamas who only had a stand up shower did.

My friend dosent have a bath either so she always took a shower with her DD and when she was done she would hand her off to her husband while she finishes her shower.

We used one of these in our tub. Never had to worry about them wacking their heads.

Shower with baby. One of my best friends did this until her son was 2. I have to get into the bath tub with my daughter or she screams.

We have a walk in shower. I put a sock over my arm cause he gets slippery and shower him when I go in. when he is clean I step out place him in a bounce that has a towel and wrap him up or I shower first then grab him.

I used a big rubbermaid container where I used to live. My 10 yr old used it till she started to shower at 3ish and my 4 yr old did till 2 yrs old. They loved it I put it in my living room and they watched tv while bathing lol then I would just carry it to the sink and dump it, it was super heavy though about 70lbs with water filled up halfway lol

I loved showering with DS when he was little but unfortunately with a bad shoulder he is now to big for me to hold for longer than a few minutes.

I'm definitely considering the kitchen sink or getting one of those inflatable tubs though.

Thank you guys for your advice!
