Good thoughts needed

My good friend has just recently found out that her baby has a rare neural tube defect. If the baby made it to full term it would have a 5% chance of being born alive but die up to an hour later. She is being sent to Vancouver next week to have the baby taken out, where she could have 15-1 hour with the baby before he/she passes on. This defect is so rare only 1500 babies in the last 100 years have had it. But it is not genetic which is a good thing. Her doctors said she has a higher chance of winning the lottery 5 times in a row then another baby with this. Either way my poor friend is losing her second born and I am devastated for her.
Please keep her, her husband and son in your thoughts during this difficult time.

Oh gosh, I am so sorry to hear that. I can't imagine. I will be praying for her, and I hope she gets to spend some time with her LO.
