Could this be labor?

I am38 weeks today. Last monday i started lose my mucus plug and have contractions all last week. Then friday i had a dr. Appt. I was 1cm dialted. I have bern haveing contractions 3-5 mins apart with back pain, vomiting, and my head has been hurting so bad. I have also had to go to the bathroom as if i have to (poo) but nothing ever comes out. Just a few mins. Ago i lost my whole mucus plug. This is my first child i wanted to kno if these were signs or what should i do?

Call or go to L&D now!

Go in... worst they could do is send u home!

Yep. Sounds like this is it. If it's not, you could be dehydrated. Either way you should go to L&D.

How long have you been contracting? I think it's contractions 5 min apart for two hours for first time mom's. I would call L&D and see what they suggest but it sounds like you may already be in labor! Did you see any blood in your mucus plug?

Considering that you are having pressure I would at the very least call and ask if you should go up but I would probably just go in.

Since about 6 this afternoon. And yea i did it was like brownish. Just a little bit. But my hospital is 30 mins away n my sister told me that i dont need to go to the hospital untill my contractions hurt so bad that i cant stand or walk. Right now im jus squating on the floor.

Definatly sounds like labour : ) I was told to wait until contractions are bad enough that u can't talk through them.. Good luck hun

sounds like to me eather way id go in cuz i think its time for you to meet ur little one :}i could me wrong but if it fills like u gots to poo and alot of prshure and u lost ur mucus plug..!!!!then i think its time to go to the hospital :}..no offence if ur in pain your contractions does not need to hurt really bad for u to have a baby..some people dont even kno there baby is gonna come right away..then it hits them when my water broke i didnt have no contractions and i was ok for a few then it hit me!!n i was in PAINNNN..good luck tho kk(go get checked :}..lol

I wouldn't wait that long! My contractions never got that painful until about 30 minutes until birth! If you've been contracting for a few hours I would go in! Good luck!

contractions can get fast & furious very rapidly , u have that needing to poo feeling and hospital is 30 mins away ?
i would go , or plan for a home birth lol
