My fiance and I have been searching for that perfect ring (he already gave me 1 when he proposed, but that was temporary) and I think I might have found it.

I havn't decided if I wanted to the traditional diamond ring or if I wanted to have a garnet ring (mine and Kiley's birthstone). What do you ladies think? Any suggestions?

Usually I prefer yellow gold, that's what practically all my jewelry is. Do you think it would be okay to wear my yellow gold rings with a white gold engagement ring? I feel it would clash..

I think they would clash too. I am really traditional for the most part so I would've personally gone with the the first ring right off the bat but since it is your daughters birthstone and your own together that is a really cute idea so number 2 is growing on me as well. If you have another child though would you add a stone?

I like the first one, but the second one would probably be a tad more significant to you... But I don't know how it would look in the yellow gold. I personally prefer white gold, but if you're other jewelry is mostly yellow and that's what you prefer anyway that's the way I would go =)

But whichever you pick, they are both gorgeous rings =)

i definatly like #1. Mostly because it is similar to mine...mine is yellow gold and instead of having all round diamonds leading up to the big diamond in the middle mine switches between round and square ones. They are both pretty though.
