Pillowcase dress

Is there an age you think is to old to wear one? Are they only cute on little? My niece is turning 8 and wants m&m stuff. I found her a set of earrings but was thinking I could probably make her a pillowcase dress. But then I thought she was too old.

There's tutorials on Pinterest that are a little more shapely and might work better for an older girl.

with a little less 'width' and a pair of crop leggings, they look cute on all ages, my friends 10 year old rocks them! just tone down the 'poof'
