Pregnancy test help with pic

I don't know if this is the right place to put this.
I had a surgical abortion June 16th 2012 as a result of rape. I was 9 weeks. 2 days ago at a check up, my HCG was 35. The doctor said everything was coming down nicely and to repeat a blood test in 2 weeks to be sure. All of a sudden my breasts hurt to touch, and I'm cramping very badly. I am bleeding a little, but it's about a fifty cent size of pink blood when it happens. I was assuming this was still post abortion until I took these tests. Left is yesterday afternoon, right is this morning. The line is getting darker it seems. I did not have unprotected sex until at least one week after my Implanon was inserted (6/22 is day of insertion). Should I just keep testing?

The one from this morning surely is not an evap, it showed almost immediately within 3 minutes.

The HCG is going to take a little while to get out of your system completely. If it was 35 only 2 days ago there is probably enough left to get faint positives. The one this morning would be darker just because the urine is more concentrated. I'm sure you are fine but maybe call the office who did the procedure and see what they say.

I agree.. I would wait and retest.

I definitely see lines getting darker... Im not sure if that means your pregnant or if it has anything to do with the abortion though   Maybe speak to your doc about it?

i think you just have a bit of remaining HCG in your system. sometimes it takes a while to go totally to zero.

Those look positive to me. Implanon CAN fail, like the Mirena. I'd test tomorrow morning with your first morning's pee. (Best result) And if you get another positive, visit the doc and do a blood test.

No matter which result you want, good luck to ya!

Okay thank you ladies. My doctor said she ordered a blood test to go in the next two weeks so perhaps I will just go in on Monday and see.

This sounds about right to me.

Well, I have no idea how it works with abortions but I had a d&c at 12 weeks because my baby died at 10 weeks and didnt pass naturally. I got the Depo shot on June 15th 2 weeks after the d&c. 2 weeks after that(4 weeks after the d&c), I took a hpt because I was having pregnancy symptoms and it came out a BFP with a VERY dark line. My DH and I didnt have sex until the day after I got the shot and we used protection. I tested again 2 weeks later and got a BFN but am still experiencing symptoms. I have no idea how much hcg was left in my system but obviously its gone now. My ob's nurse said the symptoms were probably all the hormones rushing out of my body. Maybe it took forever for that last little bit of hcg to get out of your body and thats what was happening to you too.

Most pregnancy tests pick up HCG levels between 5 and 25. I really wouldn't panic about it. Your levels are likely slowly descending but enough is still there to give a faint positive. It's pretty common. I think you will just worry yourself unnecessarily if you continue testing. Call the clinic and tell them your concerns. I'm sure they'd be happy to get you in for a quick blood test.
