I peirced my own when i was 17...hurts pretty bad. I think eventually it does close.. haven't really tried to put anything through mine since like 2005

I had. Friend in high school who had gotten hers done said it didn't hurt at all but everyone is diff idk about how it closes I could imagine it closes like any piercing it the skin mends together but it's still noticeable you had the piercing. Kwim?
I had both of mine done, they hurt like hell, and they closed faster than any other piercing I've had (and that's a lot).
If you decide to do something like that make sure your nipple is hard because if not it won't be positioned correctly (like mine) and it can cause problems.
I had mine done in '09. Sucked big time! They healed pretty fast, and I didn't have any issues, but I took them out about a year later. Only thing now that sucks is that I'm leaking out of the holes..
Had both mine done twice. Didn't hurt while they pierced them but was so sore afterwards I decided to just take them out before they healed. Neither time left any noticeable scars. When I BF both rugrats my milk would leak through the holes though. Even though it had been a year since I took them out with DS and 3 years with DD.
I had mine done in '08, and took them out in the '09 when i was pregnant with my first.
I've never been able to get jewelry in them again, not even an 18g earring, but milk leaks/ pours from them, so they're still open to some degree. Lol.
They hurt like hell being pierced, but healing was a cinch. Usually i find with piercings that the initial act isn't so painful, but the healing is very uncomfortable, which i find more annoying.
