Provera by itself

Hi mammas I already posted this to another forum but I was hoping for some more answers so Im going to post it here as well.

Has anyone had any success stories from using Provera without clomid? Was it able to kick start a normal cycle where you were able to ovulate on your own? I'm on day two of provera and Ill start testing 10 days after the start of the period to see if ill ovulate and she also gave me birth control to regulate my cycle because I haven't been trying long enough for clomid. Has anyone had success doing that also, using birth control to regulate and then stopping and getting pregnant?

AF came and went and I still wasn't able to ovulate. I have pcos.
I went on bc for a year while I'll lost some weight and got pregnant on my own only 1 months off bc. I had a normal cycle after having my son for 6 months but I'm back to not ovulating :/.

Well I don't have PCOS or anything that would cause infertility but I was on Depo Provera for 6 months and I'm not sure if making myself have a period will also bring back my ovulation. So im going to take my Provera and start testing 10 days after I get a period and If I don't ovulate ill do another round of provera if I don't get another period on my own and start the birth control and see how that works.

Yeah from what I know about it, it should work for you then. If you haven't had an issues ovulating on your own before it should help.
