Better for Girl or Boy?

My husband really likes the name Remington. But he says that he would like it for a boy or a girl. I'm sure we'll use a nickname like Remi if we decide to use this name so based on that, I'm thinking it's better for a girl. But I wanted to get everyone's thoughts on first, whether you like the name to begin with and then if you like it better for a boy or girl.

i automatically would assume boy iuf i heard the name...but its cute either way

honestly i think its a boy name and i dont like it for a girl ... but thats just my input... remi is a good nick name for both but mostly for a girl..goodluck

Remy is the "real" name of the (male) superhero Gambit in X-Men, which I only know because I have a friend who refuses to outgrow comics. Apparently it's a popular boy name in France. I also think of the old TV show Remington Steele where it was a man's name. But personally, I like it better as a girl's name. Just like Morgan, no offense to Morgan Freeman.

well i like it but my boyfriend and me picked out our little girls name and its trinity anne and we love it

not fond of it but very original. andsounds morelike a boys name to me.

I'm not overly fond of the full name, but the nickname is adorable. I definitely see it on a boy. Remi or Remy would work for a girl, but Remington sounds very masculine to me.
