second thoughts on girl names

we had elayna/elaina mackenzie picked out if its a girl but now im unsure about the first name my DH is stuck on it
other names we considered were
lauren(too boring for me)
allison(also to boring)
naomi
dahlia
(i starting to love cecelia)
can you guys help with other varitations of these names like laurianne , alianna , delilah help or just new suggestiong all together mn WILL be mackenzie
dh is sooooo picky!

my daughters names are Delilah and Amelia  
the only thing that drives me nuts is that everyooonnnneeeee asks me if i named delilah from the song hey there delilah and when i say no then they ask if i named her after some radio show host lol.. but i loved the name and still do  

My daughters name was Delilah for a day but we ended up changing it I still love the name tho!! Maybe for baby number three! Lol

see i love the name delilahh it was my bffs name growing up but dh says its too hippy but he likes dahlia!!! wtf he is soooo difficult with names

when i first told everyone i was naming our first lo delilah NOONE liked it then i desided to change it to skylar grayce and everyone deisided they loved delilah lol ...then i deisded i didnt care what anyone thought and went with delilah cuz i was still so in love with it lol i wanted something girly and ellagent. and something that no one could abriviate to something i didnt like , then my husband started calling her deli and i wanted to murder him lol

I had that problem too we had two names picked out Delilah belle and the name she has, my family kept putting me off delilah belle but people still give me blank stares when I tell them my daughters name so you can't win! I loved both equally so I'm not bothered what people think anymore either I have heard a lot stranger names! Lol

i would think a nick name would be lilah
we already have a boy name picked out caellum (kay-lum)

im glad i ended up sticking with delilah, now everyone tells me they couldnt picture her with a different name and that it fits her perfect lol but your right you can neverrr win

You mean 'Deli' like a deli sandwich? lol

I think it is a cute nickname and all   it's just...well, I can see why you may opposite is all. Don't mean to offend!!

I like Elaine or Elena but I don't like the two alternate spellings you offered, they are incorrect.
Lauren is an nice name - there is also Lorraine or Lori or Laura
Allison is nice too - similar but fresher would be Alice or Alicia
Naomi, Dahlia and Cecilia are all very pretty and unique.

You still have lots to choose from! At least the middle name is decided already.
