Going to see Elmo for her birthday?

I just found out that Elmo is coming out to Rockford 2 days after Nanners birthday. The tickets are relatively cheap and she adores the hell outta the furry red guy. I am considering taking her instead of getting her extra crap for her 3rd birthday.

How loud/crazy are these places?
She is a major sensory seeker but I dont want it to be too claustrophobic and ask for a meltdown.

any opinions/suggestions? Or am I completely crazy for even considering it?
