Can anyone suggest any websites for renting a house?

Like specifically or catering towards single family homes and not apartments?

Heh if only! I'm so sick of apartment living but we aren't ready for a mortgage yet.. Icant find any housing rentals online at all. It seems odd? Though I know nothin about renting an actual house.

In my experience, craigslist and newspapers are your best bet. Single family homes are usually privately owned, and they don't want to spend a bunch of money on advertisement because they aren't some management company with tons of units to fill, KWIM?

Usually you can find places by [location] rental homes.

Just drop down the box from "Homes for sale" to "homes for rent."

You have to be very careful on Craigslist. Lots of scammers.

Ive been looking for around here too, maybe we are just over populated here in so.cal haha.

Seriously it really difficult. The ones I've actually found are 3000+ which is way beyond our price range!

Yeah it seems that way but apartments here are ridiculous prices too.
