Is that the episode where one girl is the one father's and the other girl is the other father's? ...Anyways I think that the babies are girls is a "easier" situation then if they were to be boys. When they are older the girls will be better understanding with the whole I have 2 fathers type of situation. I definitly think the girls should have a female role model in their lives, which maybe the surrogate mother would be? Just as they say a child needs a dad, a child needs a mom too.

Hmmmmmm I was watching the same show and it was my understanding that they already had the embryos and were searching for a surrogant when they found that chick. Doesn't matter. I think it should be the same kind of deal like with any other surrogate. That she just carries the babies and that the extent of it. I don't think the situation should change just because there's two men involved rather then a man or woman. And in answer to your question I would only carry a baby for close friends or family.

Oh ya, and I would definitly carry a baby for my sister if it was only her and her husband's embryo, if the baby was part of me I would never be able to do it.

And I am pretty sure the surrogate was the egg donor too...Isn't she like a close friend or something?

I really think it is a beautiful thing. I don't think I would be strong enough to do it personally. But if someone is, more power to them. I didn't see this episode, but I wonder if they have worked out something where the mother is maybe going to be part of thier lives? In some way. I don't know, but I don't see a problem with having two dads. Obviously they are qualified, and they really wanted the babies. They have done studies proving that growing up in a home with homosexual parents does not incline a child to be homosexual. And just because one person finds it wierd to talk to their dads about certain things, this is how these children will be raised, so they will know nothing different.

I think it is an awesome thing to do for someone! I think two men who are redy to be fathers can be just as good. I mean, they can't grow boobs and give birth themselves, but they deserve a family just as much as the next person. But as for me doing it, I could never give away one of my babies. It would tear my heart out. Maybe if I wasn't the egg donor it would be different.

I wouldnt deliberately put a baby in a home without a mother. I think its important for a child to have both, it equalizes things. Im not saying they couldnt make good parents, because Im sure they could, but there are just things that a mother can bring to a child that a father cant.

that is my point. but i did see that the mother was there when they do the whole check back in a few weeks later thing. thats good atleast.

oh yeah I saw that one.. One of the guys is her brother and the other guy is his bf.. ofcourse she had the bf sperm in her.. but she didnot do it only once.. 2 times for them.. and they had a girl the first time and then another girl the second time..

I donot know I cannot give my child away.. no way..but if it was not mine.. I told my sister I would carry her husband and hers baby.. but I cannot give a child that is part of me (egg) up to anyone

that isn't the episode i am talking about. they didn't know the mother in this one and the babies were twins. but its the same idea kinda
