Ok its annoying when

posted 13th Jul '12
I see posts of how to speed up labor or how to make my baby come out!

It's annoying I understand your tired of being pregnant. When I was pregnant the last few weeks I was done but It never crossed my mind to try to go online and look for methods to get LO out. Your LO will come out when ready! Take this time to relax rather than drinking castor oil or having sex just to get the labor going! Stop trying to get LO out! I feel like its one thing to vent about feeling tired of being pregnant I'm ok with that. But it's annoying to read the posts asking how to get your baby out just be patient it will happen!

Lol sorry maybe that just bothers me

Your post is annoying too. They have every right to ask any damn question they want. Maybe they don't know the risks of certain things.

Ehh with as tired of being pregnant as I am already I can see myself being one of those people looking to evict the little thing haha but I would not be dumb enough to post on BG asking how ha!

.... not that dumb

just saying I can see where the women are coming from but also agree what they are looking to do is selfish a bit and dangerous again I can understand, but it's just part of being a mommy (sometime)

These posts are annoying. I'm going to go make a post about how it's annoying when people make posts about being annoyed that women want to induce labor too early.

Lady, I'm already almost done. Once I hit 37 weeks, this kid can come out any god damn time as far as I'm concerned. And yes, I will be walking, having sex, bouncing on a birthing ball, tweaking my nipples, eating pineapple and spicy food. Hell this time around I might even try some primrose oil or raspberry leaf tea. No castor oil though, I'd rather not smurf my damn brains out. Look, a woman can do any of this and if her baby and her body is not ready for labor, guess what? It's not going to work. I know that. But a girl can dream damnit! I really don't care if you think it's "selfish and annoying." Problem?

This is my point! I understand how tiring being pregnant can get and you just want the baby out. But I feel like asking for ways to start labor yourself isn't the best way of going about it. I'm not saying they don't have a right to say what they want because they do. I just feel like they need to take the waiting game as part of the package vs trying to get the baby out with out him/ her being ready.

U can simply eat 5 chocolate bars if you believe it will increase your chances of having your LO it's your choice but what is the point if you already know it won't work it's all up to your baby? At least you understand that if LO isn't ready he won't come out regardless some woman seriously believe if they do certain things the baby will deff come

But that was exactly my point. Tons of women DONT know that it won't work, which is why they come here to ask. You're just ASSuming here.

So? Let them believe that. If you know it isn't going to work, what smurfs do you give that they make themselves sick eating pineapple or chicken curry? What business is it of yours if a woman has her husband screw her brains right out because she thinks it'll get things moving? I mean, if you know it won't work unless she's ready for labor anyways, what's the problem?
