Micro premature at 28weeks

Hey Mom's

I had my baby girl emergency c-section Sunday early afternoon, due to Pre-E., which had creeped up on me in the matter of 12 hours.
It was one of the scariest experiences Ive ever had . I couldn't be more thankful for my Dr.s and how quick they were to react and get me into the OR
I'm home now and things are rough but the NICU and staff at the hospital have been amazing getting me started on a long road ahead.

She was 1lb 13oz and 14in. 28 weeks and beautiful. Almost 5 days in and she has color to her. Good luck and bless all the Mommies going though a hard times.

congratulations on your daughter, so glad she was delivered safely!
I know it's very hard and scary, but trust the NICU! they really know what they're doing, and your daughter is in good hands.
it's very hard to see them with all those wires and monitors, but she'll grow and come home before you know it.

I had my baby early. it is a very emotional thing. Mine was small. get lots of rest, and I am so happy for you.

THANK YOU MOMS :,) !! It really is hard to see her specially the day after i got off all my wackey IV medications i dont think i was ready and in the right mind set but I'm glad i went and I'm glad that today was better than yesterday. And ur all right she is in the best hands   xoxo

Congrats! I am glad they were able to save your little girl and you are safe! I lost my daughter at 34 weeks because of pre-e and I almost died as well. That being said, my youngest son was born at 28 weeks. He spent 69 days in the NICU (he also had to have heart (PDA) and hernia surgery.) He got out at exactly 38 weeks gestation without any troubles. He is now 3 years old and perfectly happy and healthy. Good luck! It is probably going to be tough and you will go backs steps in the NiCU journey, but there will be amazing moments as well and those will last way past the NICU!   I am here if you ever want to talk or just someone that can sort of relate!

:,/ OMG thats terrible. So I have heard you take a few step forward and a few steps back thats why they tell me to just relax and ride the waves otherwise i will go crazy and be very upset. I can't be b/c I have my daughter and pumping but i will def. message you   thanksss

Oh my goodness I'm only 2 and a half weeks behind you. This is a scarry thought for me so please excuse me if anything I say sounds offensive. I'm so curious.

I'm glad you guys are ok! Did they give you an estimated time she will come home or if there are any major issues? Congrats btw!

Congrats my son was born 33 weeks and weighed 3lbs 9oz it is emotional...this too shall pass...he is now 14 weeks and over 9lbs lil ones are very strong god bless

Congrats and good luck. I will say a prayer for you and your lo. The people in the NICU work miracles. My cousin and his wife had their third child at 28 weeks also (problems with the baby's development and early labor) and we prayed and prayed and he is doing wonderful.

LOL don't worry I'm not offended very easily !! It was and can be very scary trust me. I didnt realize it until it actually happend. But she is doing so well i dropped off milk this morning and they gave her a bath and she was all cuddled up on her side. No they haven't it's still to early. Good luck Mamma

Thats amazing. Thanks for that   I honestly never have pictured of thought id ever go though something like this and so far its been okay for me. Its only been a week but I'd say its def. still sinking in and i'm still trying to understand everything. I was just the one getting sick she was doing very well in my belly BUT it didnt happen lol so shes growing in her little comfy bed !
