I love the name too, but could never use it. Way too popular for me.

I see her a few times a year. They are not TTC and her husband isn't even sure he wants to.

Too popular and even though your friend may never have a girl, I wouldn't want to cause tension like that. Maybe as a middle name though? It works with a lot of names.

In that case it might be alright. I know we were considering Anna for our DD but my best friend recently asked if she could useit. I told her to go ahead.I bet your friend would do the same.

I think it is a beautiful name, It is popular but like the other lady said, it would make a beautiful middle name!

I wouldn't use it for both reasons. I hate the idea of using super popular names and I think it would be rude for your to use a name you already know your friend wants to use.

I'd use it anyway. I love it. She has no dibs on the name.

If you love it and it has meaning for you just use it.
If years from now a friend uses it too who cares?
