Nesting ... not yet

Yesterday I needed to get some laundry out of the way (and I always put it off because I do laundry for my job everyday and I never feel like doing my own) so I washed 3 loads , hung one out to dry and left it over night , it decided to rain  

So then I washed the dishes and started clearing out some boxes of things that I hadn't unpacked since we moved here 8 months ago ... then I ironed for an hour ...

My hubby says - aww you're nesting . I say he's crazy I just felt like cleaning up .

But in reality I want to get things ready for the beans arrival 4-5 months from now.

Am I nuts? Is anyone else already preparing their house?

Then yhes, I am nesting like a squirrel.

I'm nesting like crazy lol...Everything has a place and it shoould be in it. We'll see if I still feel that way after I have two children lol

Ehh, I'm too lazy to nest. My son's naptime is the only time I get by myself when my husband is at work, and I should be napping right now so that I can finally motivate myself (the urge has been there, but the laziness has won so far), but nope. I blame BabyGaGa and the internet in general. Not even my hospital bag is packed yet.

DH gave me two hours "alone time" on Mothers Day... the first two hours I have had to myself in months and you know what I did?
I was on my hands and knees and I scrubbed the carpet in the lounge room, wahsed and hung out 2 loads of washing and scrubbed the shower while I dyed my hair....
I spent today ironing.... I have 2 weeks to go....
is that nesting or resting?

I'm putting off my nesting stage lol, so I don't get bored in my last two months with nothing to do. But I did the crib walls and am starting in on the furniture/bedding now, which is kind of like nesting for me.

My son goes to head start from 8 till 12 so I try to get a good bit of it done then. And when he comes home it's NAPTIME for both of us.I spend all day cleaning but I still haven't packed my hospital bag either. Ijust don't feel like it. I put the diaper bag togehter though. Lol

Last week I had about 2 days where i went nuts, scrubbed showers, cleaned carpets, washed everything i could reach and my house was sparkling. But now nothing i don't even want to get out of bed in the morning let alone clean, i sure hope this passes so i can get everything ready for baby but the baby shower is sunday so maybe when i have all this baby stuff that'll kick my butt in gear to get something done.

Being a mom of another big familly I am..... With six other children I am not sure when I will get the time to do it later on in my pregnancy so I try to do as much as I can when I have a chance now......

LOL, I am the same. I had a big nesting phase in the middle of my pregnancy but now I can barely get my laundry done. My shower is on Sunday and then I have 5 weeks left. I am hoping all the new stuff will make me want to nest and clean the rest of the house and get everything organized. I want to do so much but I am soooooooo tired all the time. My husband is great and supportive and all but I am not working right now and at the end of the day I will say I am sooooo exhausted and he'll say jokingly "Well what did you do today to be so tired." and I'll snap back......"I am growing a human being inside my body, what did YOU do today?!?!?" LOL, what....its a lot of work!

yes i am the same exact way and i don't work right now either b/c i had to move when i found out i was pregnant and my b/f will say the same thing to me about how he doesn't understand how i'm sooo tired since i didn't do anything, and i get so mad at him. But hey our showers are on the same day i hope they turn out good!!

I know, he tries most of the time to be nice about it but I know he is probably a little jealous because he works full time and goes to school but seriously, I would trade places any day! This is just not fun at all. I lost my job, well quit, early on because I ws so sick in the beginning and missed a lot of days. Yes, our showers are on the same day, how exciting! My friend is throwing it for me and it is supposed to be pretty big. Like 40-50 people have said they are coming so I am nervous about space and excited at the same time! When are you due?

OH.....you are due June 23rd! I am having a scheduled c-section on June 23rd!
