teen paretns. (rant)

Is it me or is anyone else tired of people bashing on teen mom/parents. I personally think that it doest matter what age you are but what type of parent you are. just because im 16 doesn't mean im a bad mom? i love my son more than anything in the world and i plan on raising him right. but because of my age he's gonna have a horrible life? I think teen mom/parents are the strongest people in the world and should have respect we've given up a lot.

Strongest people? No. They get bashed because they make everything about their age. If they want to be treated the same, stop with the "woe is me, I'm a teen mom" bull smurf

"I think teen moms are the strongest people in the world"
Why? because they got knocked up and pushed out a baby as a teenager? Yeah that takes more strength than a 25 year old pushing out a baby.

I don't think teens should be having babies but if they accidentally do end up pregnant then they get respect for sacrificing their childhood and being good parents.

Id just like to say that no it doesnt make you the strongest person in the world because youre a teen. Parenting is not easy at any age.

It just depends on the situation I guess. I know a girl who is 14 and got pregnant right after she turned 14, and admits that she did it on purpose so she could go on welfare. I have ZERO respect for that. Because I work, which means I will be paying for her stupidity. And that just pisses me right the hell off!

I had my son at 17 and haven't been treated any differently than any other mom I know. It's about how you present yourself.

I agree. I'm 18. But I don't go around saying oh I'm a teen mom. I'm a mother. No need to bring up my age.

squishing a child out of your vag as a teen doesn't make you one of the "strongest people" ever.

I am sorry I don't look at age I know many ppl who were great teen moms and many smurffy ones too. Single moms get bashed just as much. Ignore it and move on. Don't worry about your age but your kid
