need advice

My two week yr old daughter as of tomorrow is really constipated. I wanna know what I should do? I never really had this problem with my son. I have massaged her tummy already and done the bicycle thing with her legs.

Have you tried bathing her while doing those things?

is she formula fed?
I ask bc my daughter was and she was on simulac advanced and the pedi. switched her to simulac sensitive and it worked.
I hate when their constipated its so sad cause you feel so helpless   I hope she goes soon

this too! a warm bath while doing the bicycle and massaging her tummy would sometimes work for my little one

My daughters doctor had us give her a very small amount of Karo syrup. It helped. I'd run it past her doc though. Things could have changed since them.

my dr said one ounce apple juice mixed with 2 ounces of water. some dont agree, say baby is too young. my mom said she would put vasoline on a q-tip and push it up our butt when we were babies to lube and loosen up. i read once that constipation is caused by your butt not having its natural lube helping to slide poop out so the q tip vasoline trick makes sense.
