Piercing a little boys ears

Not saying that i would do it, but has anyone ever seen a little boy (like baby boy) with both of his ears pierced?

would he look too much like a girl?

I like when guys have pierced ears (as young men) but i dont think a baby could get away with it, not being teased, or ppl thinking its inappropriate and such. .

what do you think??

I wouldn't make that kind of a decision for my baby,but if he or she wanted it done later,I'd allow it.I can't see people being too crazy about a little boy with pierced ears,with how people are so quick to judge these days.It'd be likely to attract a lo of negative attention,I think.

I've seen baby boys with one ear pierced but never both! I think its kinda girly having both done when their that little....

I never seen a baby boy with his ears pierced. I don't think it would look good, eventhough I like guys witht their ears pierced I wouldn't make that kind of decision for my son either.

Omg the other day i was at the mall and i passed Claires and there was a lil baby girl gettin her ears pierced...i was thinking this is goin be sad!! but this girl did not even FLINCH!!! i was so shocked lol....babies are tough!!

i think it might be a little girly too with 2(on a small baby), but i hate ONE ear pierced...

imo you would have to wait until the were 2-3yrs old to do it.

and i would never to give anyone an excuse to confuse my boy for a girl, like if they were only wearing a white onsie, i would probably think it was a girl!

Ive never seen it either... that i can think of.

Iwas sooo mad at my mom for not piercing my ears as a baby, i got them done at like 5 and they got very infected. i guess a girl is A LOT different than a boy..

IVe seen that too!!! we were all huddled around thinking this baby was gonna scream and she barely blinked.

I agree... Molly got hers done last year.,...a present from her aunty for her 5th birthday...she knew it would hurt and she would have to keep them clean and I felt that it was totally her decision... I dont know about people getting babies ears pierced..I had mine done twice as a baby and have had problems with my ears ever since..

Call me old fashioned but boys shouldn't pierce thier ears... Eyebrows and nipples yes but ears no way.. I just picture this....

I think having both ears pierced on an adult guy is girly.

JMO though.

A lot of my boy friends have both their ears peirced, & they wear a diamond stud in each. I don't think it looks THAT girly, they're just "pretty boys", least that's what we call them over here, haha.

But as for piercing a baby boys ears, just NO.

The nerves in the ear are not fully developed so they are less likely to feel much if any pain at all as a baby or young child. My daughter slept through one and only woke up because people were touching her but she did not do anything when the second one was done.

I have seen it in one ear and I think it is really adorable. I noticed Germans do it a lot more routinely on boys and girls.I wouldntdo it in both though. I think as a baby it does look girly but as they get older its not much of a big deal.
