Allergies?

posted 11th May
Before I go off and call my daughters doctor I thought I would ask you ladies...

So my daughters left eye is red and the eye lid is a little red as well, and I'm not sure if she has allergies or there's something wrong or the eye is just irritated. I bought these eye drops called Similasan Allergy Eye Relief and it says it can be used on children 2 years and up (my daughter is 16 months) and wasn't sure if I should use them or wait until I get hold of the doctor.

So opinions would be great!
Does anyone have a child who has allergies, that this happens to?

is it just her eye? or is she sneezing and runnny nose. are the eys watery as well? i have pretty bad allergies myself. if theres no other symptoms it may be pink eye and you don[t want to put drops in her eye if its pink eye. can make it worse

It's her eye and her eye lid is red. And she's been sneezing more then usual lately, but no runny nose and her eye doesn't seem to be watery that much.
And I thought at first it could be pink eye but her eye has been like this for a few days, and I thought if it was pink eye some one in my family would have it by now since it's so contagious. And it's red through out the day and then it will be fine for a bit.

i'd try the allergy meds and see how that goes over the next day or so
