how did you find out your pregnant?

i love reading how people found out and how they told there parents   so how did you guys find out and why did you take the test and how did you tell the rents ?

i had my hcg levels checked after i thought i miscarried and it turned out i was still pregnant.

  21 weeks now.

I took a test with all three. First one was because my period was late; told my mom in the car (not recommended). Second, I tested because we were ttc; told my mom at her house. Third, we were also ttc; posted about it on fb.

My period was a few days late and my body was feeling "different" .. So I decided to take a home pregnancy test. & It was positive!

I had back pain for weeks. Finally made an appt with my family doctor. He told me to go home and take a pregnancy test and that you can have back pain early on. I thought he was crazy but did it anyways. Peed on a stick and about 20 seconds later I'm screaming Oh my god, we're pregnant. Then I called my mom   But I told my dad at dinner that night in a public place cuz I knew he wouldn't be happy.

With my son, I had a dream the night before I took a test and it came back positive. Woke up, took a test, sure enough in reality, it came back positive. I wasn't late or anything. He told his parents over the phone, they lived in another state. I told my mom and she was mad. Someone told my dad, (my parents are divorced) so I don't know his reaction

With my stillborn son, I just had a feeling. so I took a test 3 days before my af was due and it came back positive. Didn't tell my family until I was 17 weeks.

This pregnancy, I was 3 days late. I was suppose to wait a week to test, but yet again, I had a dream of a positive test. So I took one and it was a plus. Now I'm 28 weeks with another boy. Both our families are excited.

hahah yeah i didnt know it would post that fast hahaaha i was like oh smurf when i did it  

my mom knew before i did and i was only four weeks when we found out. but i took a home test because she insisted at like 2 and a half weeks almost three, turned positive, took all four tests to see if it was wrong, and then the doctor ordered a blood test and all my mom said was i told you so when it came back positive. I had been using protection an taking birth-control.

I was so tired at school almost falling asleep in classes my boob hurt heaps and i just felt off i knew my period was due in in a few days but we brought s test valentines days got a light t positive best valentines days ever  
I didn't tell my parents my grandma ended up telling them.mum was upset but got over it took about a week dad on the other hand is hardly talking to me still and im 27weeks pregnant

I took a test because my boobs hurt. Turned out positive, I told my MIL first because she was with us when we bought the test, and then I talked to my grandma on facebook and told her, and told her not to tell my mom because I wanted to wait a bit longer.. I didn't wanna cause my mom the heartbreak of another failed pregnancy from me. My grandma is the worst person with secrets though and told her anyways then my mom called me and bitched that she wasn't the first person to know.
