diabetes testing..

Did the drink they gave you to test for diabetes taste bad?  
they gave me my drink for my test on the 23rd n im just wondering how that tasted lol
n when did u guys test for that? around what week? bc my reg OB is on meternity leave..andthe midwife shes been sending me to said that they r behind on a few tests!?! WTF

I had the one that tasted like 7 up and it was not that bad.

I had the one that tasted like flat over sweetened orange soda kinda gross but not to bad and I had it done at 28 wks

Mine was a fruit punch flavor.. it didn't taste too bad just extremely sweet and room temp   I took it at 26 weeks

I am getting the glucola when I am 28 weeks I am 25 now. I heard it tastes like Orange soda.

I had it done at 25 weeks, and I had the drink that tasted like flat orange soda.. didn't taste that bad, but it kinda burnt the back of my throat for some reason? I don't drink soda at all so that might be why, but I had a hard time drinking it. Not that bad though!

I had mine done around 28 weeks I think. The drink just tasted like really sugary orange pop, you just kinda gulp it down and get it over with. Its really not THAT bad.

I'll have mine done at 30 weeks.. mines the orange soda one too..
what honestly if they do it that late in the pregnancy. by the time they get the results back.. I will about to pop lol
if it did come back that i have diabetes... what good is it gnna do so late?

I wondered that too. I guess you will just have to cut back until you deliver.

I had it done at25 weeks and it made me not want orange soda ever again.I wanted to throw it up.

Mine was cold. She took it out of the fridge.

1st one I had wa s like a flat orange soda.. the second one (for the 3 hour test) Was an orange flat soda with waaaaayy too much sugar in it (that i threw up 1 hour later lol) ..... it's not that bad though for the 1st one.... Just hope you don't fail it  

I had the one that tasted like orange fanta. I personally thought it was nasty as all heck. I had to chug it just to keep myself from throwing up. It was just too sweet. other than that not too bad. I got it at about 26 weeks w/both my kids.

They had the orange and the lemon lime flavors. I'd had the orange one w/my first so, I figured at least I knew what it tasted like. I am SO glad I will never have to drink that stuff ever again.

I have mine on the 15th I'll let you know =]

Mine's in a couple hours! I got the orange soda one which I think is a lot better than the fruit punch one.
