i really hope they come around, but i am taking the responsibility i am paying for everything that the baby needs. and i cant afford rent. My mom is a stay at home mom, and i am really hoping she will forgive me, and help babysit while i am at school because if not... i dont know what im going to do.

yeah, as of right now I dont have a babysitter, so that is something i need to figure out..i was hoping my mom would do it for me, but the way things have been going i dont think she is going too.

Does your school have a program for teen moms? There are daycare subsidies in many states, you should still look into that, I was just saying that I'm seeing more and more often there isn't assistance available - but you should still check.

Child care assistance isn't through schools usually. You'd have to go to the DHHR. Which you'll probably have to do anyway, to apply for medicaid for the baby, unless your boyfriends parents can provide insurance. They'll be able to advise you on how to remain in school.

Find another job? You have lots of time and everyone hires when the college kids go home.

I just had a talk with my mom, and she apologized for being so hard on me, she was just really upset and scared for me... she said she would love to babysit for me when the baby comes, but if i want to live with her i still have to pay rent, so im still planning on living with my boyfriend... but since i have a babysitter i can pick up another job working after school, so i can make some more money and try to be on my own sooner, but raising a baby is still very expensive so it could be awhile.

This is going to sound harsh, but this is what someone told me when I got pregnant: If you're woman enough to lay in bed with a man, you're woman enough to provide like any other mother would.

Basically, since you had sex, you need to step up for your baby. If that means getting a second job so you can work after school, do it. Sacrifice. It will be for the better in the long run.

You're at a good start. I highly advise adoption for pregnant teenagers. It's what I was going to do. Open adoptions are fantastic. It's good your mom is making you pay rent so you get some of a taste of the real world. Not to sound mean. Trust me, your pregnancy will be the easiest part of all this.

Your parents may later change their minds. When I got pregnant, my parents kicked me out. Now that my DD is born they literally beg me to go out, have fun and let them have DD for themselves for a day or two. Good luck.
