Well at least you have that on your side. Best advice is get a job, get CS, and figure out some kind of custody arrangement. If you have to move in with your family till you can get on your feet.

So what, shes 17? You guys should be a rock & support her for choosing to bring a blessing into the world!! We all dont live perfect lives and if you really have to point out her flaws and differences, then SHAME ON YOU. Sometimes smurf happens, so you just have to roll with the punches. Always look at the positive side. YOU HAVE A HEALTHY BABY. So the father isn't around. Who said you needed to have a man help you through a baby? PLENTY of women have been raising children by themselves with out the help of a man since forever. I chose to go through with this pregnancy by myself and I don't have any problems.

As long as you have family support, you can do anything.

I'm from the south, my parents are from the south and they, myself, and just about everyone I have ever known has been raised to graduate high school and then grow up a little bit, perhaps go to college before starting a family. I wouldn't call having kids right out of high school "the traditional way" of being raised in the south. Redneck way maybe.

im 16& pregnant, yes it.doesnt sound good my baby fathers an smurf! wont even bother talking to me and your having a go at someone being 17 and had talked about children? its not fair sometimes you dont plan these things they just happen

noone in particular im just saying its not nice to be judged were all in some bad situations

You could have said NO, better yet, HELL NO! Don't put all the blame on him. Anyways, he really doesn't have to provide anything for you until the child is actually born. After the child is actually born, you can file for child support.
