Thanks a lot! It's just.. I don't want to feel like a charity case. I'm not the only one with problems.. or even the one with the biggest problems. I realize that. But at this point I'm not worried for myself.. I want my baby to get the life he/she deserves.. And I want to be a part of that life.

You are not being selfish your being reasonable. Trust me there are many girls just like you that call and seek help. Becca, First NO man is worth settling for. You're still young and hopefully have a LONG life ahead of you. Now, you have to think of this innocent baby through all this. If you're dedicated to parenting, then you can find resources in your area, I promise. You can get low income housing, free daycare, etc. to help you get started. Good luck to you hun!

Oh god no, that will come right back and bite you in the ass. You can 'pretend' for so long..and then that guy will figuire it out...if you want to make something work, then YOU put in the effort..so, your kids life is boring for awhile till you finish school and get a good job.

I'm gonna be a single mom too, I'm 21, I lost my job and my car died shortly before I found out I was pregnant. Its a really scary situation to be in, Just dedicate yourself to doing whats best for your little one and everything will work out! My mom raised 3 kids on her own, if she can do it so can we!
