Maybe on here but not on FB

Should people be allowed to put pictures on FB of their living children? Should women be allowed to put pictures on FB of them BFing?

It's someone's child. They have a right to post pictures on their FB if they want to.

like, pictures of them after they were deceased, or while they were alive?

Pictures of deceased people in general, I think should be private. Sure, have them, share them if you want to when its appropriate, but dont just leave them hanging around like, on FB.

If they are alive in the pic but deceased IRL, absolutely, you couldnt pay me to take them down.

Probably just with people Im close to.

I shared Mya's everywhere. If people didn't like them, they didn't need to look. But I know a lot of people did.

I would probably keep mine private. A friend of mine posted pictures of her daughter who was stillborn on FB, and a lot of people were upset. It doesn't so much offend me, but it makes me incredibly sad for the rest of the day.

Personally, I would probably share them with only a few people that I felt comfortable with. I wouldn't want anyone making insensitive comments, however helpful they may think they're being... so I would choose to avoid that at all costs and make sure that I had a chance to grieve and come to terms with the loss of a child.

well i only have a handful of pictures that i've shared, whether that be on FB or here. my daughter was born alive but died shortly after birth, so the only pictures i have of her are deceased. Obvioulsy i'm not going to share all 300 pictures i have with her, or the ones where her skin is starting to change colors.

I just wasn't sure if i offended other people and should take them down and have that be just for my viewing pleasure...

I'd share them, smurf everyone. My brother took pics of my Dad at the funeral. It was the most peaceful he had ever looked. I don't have them online. Years ago most families only took pictures after a death because it was so costly.

I don't think you should worry about offending people. You love your child, and you have just as much of a right to share that love as anyone else.

NEVER feel like that hun. That is your child. I'm so sorry for your loss.
