Suffering and Loss of one twin

I loss one twin to Bilater Renial Agentisis. I never had a chance to know the sex of the baby or have really had a chance to morn the loss. I just am just so confused how I am to feel. I have been so busy focusing on my son that did survive. I guess that I have not taken the time to question it.

Has anyone been though this or something simular? Just wanted to see how you are dealing with your loss.

Thanks - And sorry for your loss. I am just so confused how I am to even think. I want to stay possitive for my son. But that is always in the back of my head about his twin.

My mom mc'd my twin when she was 17 weeks and I lost both my twins when I was 16 weeks 6 days. I'm so sorry for your loss. If you need anything or just someone to talk to let me know

it will always be in the back of your mind, and it will always be what ifs too, i found it harder to cope with having an ectopic pregnancy then when i gave birth to my baby girls, i thought at least i got to hold them, wash and dress them where as the other baby i didnt know what sex it was or nothing.

well you cant be upset at yourself! Im sure there were alot of things going on at the time! Its been a lil over 7 mo since i lost my girls and it bothers me that i didnt really mourn them since i was soo sick. Im so sorry to hear about your baby!

Thanks for all support. I guess with it being mothers day it just makes you think a little more then other days. I just feel like I am selfish that at least I have one of my babies and a lot of the rest of you loss both. How can I compare my loss to that? You all have suffered so much more I am sure.

we have suffered then same! no one has suffered more

So sorry for your loss and the feelings that you are having right now. I just recently went through a similar situation. I lost my first twin at 14 or 15 weeks due to vanishing twin syndrome. I didnt have the time to mourn that twin because I was still really ill with the other and I didnt want the surviving twin to feel my sorrow. I lost the second twin between 18 and 19 weeks and it was only then that I could let it all out.
Each day is still a struggle and I often wonder when I will have some closure to the pain I feel each day.
