The headache that wouldn't go away...

I've been reading about headaches and them being normal during the 1st and 3rd trimesters, but what is the deal? I am in my 2nd trimenster, there really isn't any info... Ugh! Should I be worried about anything? It's been 2 days now.... Blood pressure is GREAT, so it's not anything to do with that and the fluid intake isn't the problem either.... Anyone deal with the same issue? Help!  

It could be your sinuses. My allergies are so bad and its giving me one hell of a sinus headache. Try taking a nice warm shower and letting the water beat on your face for a bit. It helped me.
And drink some coffee. The caffine boost will help.

In my case its bc of my belly and I sleep funny now... In other words a sleep posture probLOL Any chance thats part of yours?? You might want to get new pillows, or adjust them dif... At this point you are starting to sit and probly lay dif to accomodate your baby belly... The tension caused by this in your back and neck can give you tension headaces... A warm (not hot) heating pad at the base of your neck and resting with your spine in the most aligned and comfortable position you can might help... I get them all the time and they stay for a cpl of days at least until the muscles relax and are not sore again...

I've had pregnancy headaches on and off since my 1st trimester, and definitely had them all throughout the 2nd trimester. It sucks. Sorry - I hope it goes away soon! Sometimes I take a bath in the dark with candles lit and a cold washcloth over my eyes - that seems to help. And extra strength tylenol, too. Good luck!

Drink lots of water,thats what my doctor used to tell me.

You girls are SO helpful! These are def thoughts I will keep in mind especially since they are ALL making sense! So it is a Starbucks and Babies R Us run that is in the near future!

i had bad headaches before getting pregnant and took Midrin but after i got pregnant they gave me Fioricet- and it helped - but i didnt want to take it that often.

ah i feel your pain. i didnt start getting headaches til the 2nd trimester. i wake up with 'em and get em again at night. nothing but tylenol and headache pads you put on your head. bendryl maybe if its allergy related
