re: august mommies when will you baby shower be????

Well, I lived in Vegas the last 10 years and have only been back in New York for a lil over a year now. I'm all sad about having a shower cuz I don't really see a point. I have hardly any friends here. My step-mother-in-law-to-be offered to throw me a shower. I'm not sure, but I'm pretty convinced she'll flake out. I did a registry today, but I'm just sad about the whole thing anyway....

At least now I know when-ish to have a shower if I have one. I just wish I was back home in Vegas instead of here because I think it would be fun and I'd really like to have one.

Im sorry about that! I kind of know how you feel, even tho I only moved two hours away from everyone I know but still - most the people I know have moved out of state or I have lost contact with due to their family life now and Im kind of worried about having one at all. I feel like no one is going to come and if they did it would be like 2 people! (I dont have a big family either so thats out too!) I havent even registered yet because Ive been a little down about it!

My mom is throwing my baby shower in July. Still not sure of the date (we need to get on that!!!)

June 1st for one shower thrown my mom and family
June 21st for one thrown by coworkers

im not sure of the exact date bt my galz r planning it to b on the 28th of June.Im excited its my first n kind of nervous

I had mine already in March. I flew back home because I was feeling home sick and they hrew me a party. It would have been really cool if it were'nt for the fact that my cousin was hogging all the attenchion with her two girls and saying that she's pregnant again. Ugth.

I will have my baby shower around the end of June. one of myu friends is having it for me..my boyfriend wants his family tohave it but I have not met his mom or sister yet..we have been together for almost 3 years. I am going to invite them to the shower but I want it to be in my hometown..he is from Kentucky and I live in Indiana.

I am having mine july 12. My mil is throwing yet. yay?!?!?!? We don't get along very well. When do I need to go and do my registry(sp?) I thought about going at the end of the month beginning of next month but I just don't know. Any Advice?

I'm having my first baby shower on June 8th and my second July 12th!

My baby shower is on June 7th & I can't wait! I'm so excited YAY! I think my work is having one too but I'm not sure when that is. I'm due August 18th but i wanted my shower 2 months ahead of time so I could have plenty of time to get the things I need that I may not get at the shower!

I want to have mine in time to return stuff and get the rest of the stuff I need that I don't get at my shower. There's always that risk of going into labor early, I want to be DONE!

thats how i am too! thats why i'm having mine june 7th!

im having mine June 7th as well, I will be 30 weeks to the day, I herd you were supposed to have the shower 2 montsh before you were due so that you can know what you still need and all that fun stuff, so far I have 30 offical RSVP "yes" but i might get anotehr 10 in within the next 4 weeks so we will see!!!
