I had a quick question about my BBT.

I've been taking my temp every morning for the past 3 weeks...when i O'd my temp was around 98.1 then it dropped to around 97.70.

On Thursday my temp was 97.71, but Friday morning it dropped down to 97.25...what would be the cause of the dramatic drop?

I got AF this morning though....

From what I understand your temp goes down right before AF....Hope this helps

Thanks! i had a feeling thats what it was since i was having cramps all day friday and saturday and then AF showed this morning! First time i've EVER been happy to see it lol

Your welcome, yeah the only reason I knew the anwswer to that is because of that book Taking Chances on Your Fertility....its a pretty good book, I learned alot from it.... 

Yeah, AF will do that to you. I'm pretty sure my BBT is a tad bit screwed up. I started charting today and ironically AF decided to show up too (perfect timing, right?), but my BBT was 98.00. I must just be one of the warm ones...

wow that crazy! my temp this morning was 96.96...when i Oed last month it was 98.15.

aw i'm sorry AF showed up, i know you were reallying hoping for a BFP.

It's for the best. I was incredibly worried that if I didn't have a period first, my chances of miscarrying would increase so now I don't have to worry as much about that. My BBT this morning was 98.11. Maybe it's because I don't sleep fully through the night? I toss and turn like crazy...

yeah you are suppose to get at least 3 hours of sleep. do you take it same time every day and before you get outta bed?

yeah thats why i was trying to be extra careful to not get pg again until at least one cycle

My problem is that I don't fully wake up when I wake up. I wake up, toss and roll over and go back to sleep. Then I rummage around for the thermometer and take it. I give up.

i get up for work around 630 so i just take it around that time and record it in my phone so when i get online i can record it on the website. i even have my alarm go off on the weekend and i take my temp, record it, and go back to bed lol

Haha, maybe I should start doing that. I usually take mine around 8:30-9 am, but maybe earlier will do me better since I don't sleep through the night. I'll try it and see if my temps go down.
