Labour or not?

for the past 4-5 days i've had contractions coming randomly and pains in the tops of my legs and hips. and for the past 2 days i've had softer stool, period like cramping and the contractions are coming more frequently, are strong but not lasting very long. my belly has dropped slighly down in past 2 days aswell. i'm 37+1 weeks today...
do you think i'm close to labour or infact starting labour? help!!!!

I had contractions for 2 weeks that sounded like that. If you are worried go to L&D. They can tell you for sure.

i now have full on diarrhea and cold/flu like symptoms and the contractions remain the same. getting so fed up now, it's asif he's teasing me in there
