do you ever get to that point where

posted 10th Jul '12
even though you know nobody else is going to help with housework.. that you just want to protest to prove a point? i havent done the dishes for 2 days now. i want to do them so bad because i hate seeing them there, but ugh, im sick of being the only one that does any sort of cleaning around here.

I used to be like that when my kids were younger. Now that they are old enough to help out...............I don't ever get that way. The joy of having older kids.

Doesn't work. I left dishes in the dishwasher. They were still there 3 weeks later.

I've been tempted so many times. Dh is a slob though, it's just in his nature....and he could care less. It's not worth it.

If I didn't clean at all for one week, My house would look like some nasty hoarders smurf because SO is so damn lazy and messy. Between him and my 3 year old I'm no sure whos worse.

Same here. If I decide to skip the cleaning for 1 day, or can't, the next day it looks like a f***ing frat house in here....with kiddy toys lol. My DH could live in complete filth and not care at all.

Yeah but if I don't clean usually it won't get done.
He works A LOT though,so I feel guilty if I ask him to come home and clean after a 15 hour shift

I've attempted to but I can't do it. I've told my husband any clothes he leaves on the floor and doesnt put into the hamper will stay on the floor and will not be washed because I won't pick it up. Yeah, that lasted about a day   I'm too much of a neat freak.
