nightmare woke me up..:((

im not worried but it really upset me last night because i had a nightmare that my baby was born now(31 wks) and her heartbeat faded on the machine and i was devasted screaming and crying i had to tell my daughter and it was horrible. I woke up so sad however my baby is super hyper and active in my belly all last night and today. I HATE nightmares like that... why do we have horrible dreams??

Have you been worried about the pregnancy alot? Sometimes a dream or nightmare is just how your subconcious tries to deal with the stress you may be under.

yes! the whole time... all the way until 20 weeks everytime id go to the bathroom id check for blood.. I had a miscarriage last year that really upset me.. even now i freak out she doesnt move enough... Two weeks ago i started crying and drove to my birth center to get checked to make sure she was ok because she wasnt moving much.. I hate being so paranoid. Its my second pregnancy but i have had 2 possibly three miscarriages so im super paranoid. i just cant wait to meet her we are so close i just want everything to go well...

When I have nightmares sometimes its a subconcious fear I have.

I had a lot of wacky dreams when I was pregnant

Something to do with the hormones...I have crazy nightmares and I HATE THEM!!!

I had one a couple nights ago, apparently I was infertile and I had my cousins eggs implanted inside me so I could have a baby. Well, I got pregnant and at 36 weeks, they cut my baby out of me and gave her to my cousin saying she was hers. I was screaming and crying for my baby, but they wouldn't give her back.

Needless to say, I woke up and grabbed my belly. Took me a minute to realize it was okay!

The doctor told me it has to do with hormones. I have nightmares to. and I've also been told it can be something you eat before bed. With my first I craved spaghitte o's all the time and if I would eat them right before I went to bed I had the worse nightmares ever I woke up cry most times and would make my husband cuddle with me so I could go back to sleep it felt so real at times. so you can watch what you eat right before bed and try not to eat it. it's what I've done and it's helped some I don't have them every night now!

I have the worst dreams too! My doctor told me that it was alright to take 1 Tylenol p.m. It actually helps! You will still have the dreams but you wont remember half as much, thank god!

I feel your pain! I had a m/c back in 2010 and this pregnancy I have had horrible nightmares, and alway's check for blood. I am finally starting to come out of denial that all is well . Hope you have a better night sleep tonight. <3

all through out my pregnancy with my first i had nightmares but not all about the baby and im doing the same thing through out this pregnancy its so weird

i feel you i would have nightmares in my first trimester with me going in to hosp preg... and walking out skinny and well with no baby crying.... and i am now 34 weeks 6 days and also just resently had a dream of baby not moving.... i think it is just nerves its hard because you love somone so much but there is not much you can do while your little one is inside you and you can see how they are doing.... i just found it weird i had no dreams no worry in my second trimester so when i just had that dream.... made me wake up crying. hormons are also probably part of the reason. im sure everything is ok but i feel ya.....

wow thanks ladies im glad im not alone just can't wait til shes earth side and dont have to worry as much!
