Quoting Teetee+haydens mummy:" wtf are the government playing at i found out yesterday when i went to withdraw money for some birthday ... [snip!] ... so a luxury or two has to go, which has lead to an argument) or my daughter doesnt get her birthday party, its not fair x"
Quoting Maeby♥:" You used the word "entitled" several times. Just saying"
Quoting Teetee+haydens mummy:" im stressed and crying not exactly concentrating on what im writing sorry "
Quoting lucbay:" i have seen on my uk friends posts about it being cut and so forth, and i know after having it for all ... [snip!] ... you get something some countrys dont get any financial help (here included) hope all goes well for you and you get sorted out x"
Quoting The Doctor:" Money is not responsible for your relationship problems, sorry. Everyone I know is having a rough money ... [snip!] ... Doesn't mean you have to choose between your daughter and your husband, unless you're letting lack of extras run your life."
Quoting Teetee+haydens mummy:" dont get me wrong im truly grateful for the help we receive it just at the moment over here the people who deserve it are getting smurf on "
Quoting Teetee+haydens mummy:" its not because of the money we are having problems, i already said we were going through a rough patch ... [snip!] ... luxuries thats my point, ive said we can live with out them like every one else who is struggling, thats what HE doesnt like"
Quoting kravenscookiejar:" Missed the point, dear. I wish we got random free money here for having kids. But, I'd probably be upset if there were a huge unexpected change to my finances no matter what the cause."i got your point and i understand it, its not exactly free money its our taxes we pay in every week from working, i dont see the point of paying extra tax so we claim the tax credits back were loosing paying the tax anyway, the reason i use the word entitled is because its our money in the first place, its been earned, if i put the whole extent of what this country is saying about this situation, i would get a mouthful for being prejudice which i am not
Quoting Just.Hannah.:" "deserve".. "entitled"..... WOW. Maybe I'm just confused, but are you talking about welfare checks? ... [snip!] ... receive a bigger check living off of the government. IDK how it works in the U.K. though. Maybe I'm reading this wrong. "Child tax and working tax or separate. I don't live in the UK but I assume it's similar to here... Child tax is something citizens are entitled to, working tax I assume is like welfare and that is something you are not entitled to imo. You have to earn it and use it while you're trying to get on your feet - not live off it.
