They're talking about legalizing it in OK right now on the news and a police officer was quoted as saying something like "marijuana is not medicine". But, I mean, wouldn't you prefer to take marijuana as a pain killer or anti nausea, or whatever else it's used for, when there's pretty much NO side effects compared to all the dozens of side effects and high possibility of addictions of pain killers and other prescription drugs?! I just do not understand some of these people's views on it. Anyway, I'm not sure if this should go in D&D but I figured it would at least be discussed, lol.

If marijuana was a useful medication for any illness that I had, I would choose it in a heartbeat over anything man-made.

My husband has epilepsy.
We've done some research on it..and almost everyone who tried MJ for the seizures had a marked improvement.

ONE lady in particular..went from having something like 60 seizures a year..to one in a year with the mj.


It would change so much for us if we could have it as an option.

Oxycontin is pretty much legal heroin yet no one bats an eye when it's prescribed for pain. People freak the smurf out over someone using MJ

Just the fact of the side effects of prescription, man made pills, medical marijuana should be legalized. I mean, it doesn't even constipate you like pain killers do and doesn't cause kidney and liver damage like acetominophin and motrin can. It's just so frustrating!!!

I totally agree. It makes no since in my head. It's like these people that are opposing it aren't looking at any facts. They're just sticking to their ignorant opinion.

Pretty much as pharma drugs are based upon natural remedies, they just have worse side effects. For example, aspirin comes from meadowsweet, which can actually do good for your liver, yet one of the leading causes of cirrhosis of the liver is prolonged medical aspirin usage.
If I got cancer tomorrow I'd refuse chemo and radiation and change my diet and vape medical MJ. It grows naturally on earth for a reason, and I think it's the governments fault that a possible cancer cure is being shunned because of lies.

So yeah, I'm for legalisation of all of it though.

I'm not the biggest fan of legalizing drugs, although I do tend to go back and forth. I've never touched the stuff in my life. But I'd use it for medical purposes, in a heartbeat.

I don't want it legalized and let the government ruin it... but I do want to see it 100% decriminalized.

My sister is epileptic. She had multiple episodes daily from the time she was a baby.


At 17 she was not allowed to get a drivers license. She became 'dependant'


Since moving and starting MJ as treatment she has not had ONE SINGLE SEIZURE . not one. in over 8 years. She has gotten her life back.
