How long did it take you?

If you were on the depo shot, and you came off of it to get pregnant how long did it take you? I heard it could take up to 6 months?

Im not sure if its possible to get pregnant on the shot but ive been on it since january and im due for a shot on july 12 which I dont plan on getting but the past week on and off ive been getting cramping and my boobs are killing me, ive never had these symptoms before on the depo so im not sure?

Just like any other birth control, it depends on how your body handles it. My aunt got pregnant the month after an injection. She had been using it for years

After your last Depo shot it will take a while before you even have a period again and a lot of people have a really hard time conceiving. I didn't bleed for about a year after the three months after my last shot.

It took me a year and 7 months to get pregnant after I took the last shot. I didn't have a period that whole time though either. Once I had a period I was pregnant the next month. I was on it for almost 3 years.

My sister got pregnant on Depo.

I was the opposite. It took me 11 months for AF to come back and another year to conceive after that. I had a miscarriage after that in July 2011, then got my BFP with this baby in January. All in all, almost 2.5 years of TTC.

Is depo stronger then other BC's? I got pregnant on the nuva ring and everytime ive come off a birthcontrol I get my period instantly so I wasnt sure if depo was different? Because im havin cramps now im wondering if its because im going to get my period soon? Hm.

Actually it can take up to 2 years, sometimes more.

I don't know if it is stronger, but my doctor told me it was a long acting birth control. I beileve he told me it was stored in your fat cells or something like that...so it takes longer to get out of your systm.
