2 weeks pp, stomach/uterine pains, c-section

I am 2 weeks,1 day pp after an emergency c-section. I woke up this morning about 4:30 with painful cramps in my stomach and pain in my back. After getting up and walking around, they went away a bit, but I'm still having some. I have my check-up tomorrow, but curious if I should call my doctor about it. My incision started to hurt along the edges as well (only started this morning); otherwise, it's felt normal since the surgery day. Is this possibly uterine contractions with my uterus shrinking? What could it be?

Possibly. Are you BFing? I would give your Dr. a call just incase.

I was just wondering because that caused contractions for me  

Are you taking your medicine? Have you gone #2? I would call your doctor, I've never had a csection so I have no idea how it feels  

I had pains for a few weeks after my c section including bladder + bowel pains ugh. I was told its normal after a c section, organs get disturbed + pushed out of the way during the procedure (ewwwww) so everything is going back to normal. My incision is still sore (11 weeks pp) but it definitely looks healed. Mention all to your doc anyway, that's what I was told but still better to get it checked.

I haven't been taking any pain meds since the first week. The pain wasn't too horrible that I couldn't bear it, so I figured why continue taking pills I didn't need. I took an allergy pill last night, that's about it.

Also, no to #2. I feel like I could, but it's just not happening quite yet this morning.

I had my son via emergency c-section and I had pains along the edges, especially the right side.. It did feel like a pinching or stabbing pain from time to time and could be pretty painful sometimes. A lot of the pains you could be feeling is not being able to go to the bathroom (#2).

A lot of it is just your body healing and everything adjusting/moving back into it's original positions.

I called and spoke with the nurse and she thinks it sounds more gall bladder type symptoms or a possibly flu bug going around (one that's never left the area). She told me to watch what I eat, try to use the bathroom, and drink a lot of fluids. Then, if anything changes call her back, if not, just show up for my appointment tomorrow. She doesn't think it's anything from the c-section surgery. Thanks for everyone's input!
