re: Frustrated with my due date!

IM going thru this same dang thing its so frustrating......im 38 weeks by conception 37 by u/s but they changed my u/s date and im mandatory c/s also :/ ....

It's amazing how kids can be so frustrating, even before they're born...

Yeah after 20 u/s you would think they would be like ok baby good to come out .... ughghg

I have had some issues like u.

My 1st scan said that i was due 27th October (which worked with my dates - i was 9 weeks pregnant at this scan)
At my 12 week scan they changed it to 17th October - and are sticking with that date.
My bump is currently measuring 26 (im 27 wk tomorrow) and the baby is only measuring at 24 wk.

They also need to do a section with me due to bowel disease and a previous emergency section. I have been arguing with them constantly on the dates for the section as they wanted to do it at 36 weeks (which would have been the 19th September) I felt with the early scan being different that would make the baby too early and with her measuring small anyway i dont want to have her that early. i have so far managed to get them to let me have it on the 3rd October - if i can make it that far. i am going on bed rest very soon to make sure i do).

Explain your concerns. they have said that if i go into labour they will still do a section (as i am a high risk for bowel rupture). But im sure if you mention your worries they will agree to do a section if you go into labour before your section date. xxxxx

I'm just waiting until what the next ultrasound says and what my doctors decide to do right now. I trust my doctor and I know she wants to do what's best for my babies and I and I value her oppinion very much.

Oh, you've got to be dying! Pregnancy seems to go by SO much slower when you're close to the end! I know I was disappointed to hear that I wasn't as far along as they thought I was earlier in the pregnancy and that was when I was only 17 weeks along.

It's probobly just you being anxious and ready for the pregnancy to be over

yeah i feel better today got to get out of house and see family and hang with hubby and kids ............Im happy again damn hormones .........
