Quoting Ruby Runion-Brown:" have you tired bc to control it? normally this is how they start the process. ask for jolessa (its like the seasonal) & skip your sugar pills. thats how my doctor did me"
I've been on BC since my first doctor thought I had it. My cycles were long, like 38 days. My periods were a week long with a lot of blood and tons of cramping to the point I missed a lot of school. My hormones were just a mess.
I started BC when I was 13. I'm going to be 21 in 10 days. Only having LO had it go away. Which I actually read that if you're able to get pregnant while you have it, it will help. But now it's back and it's bad. It's like how it was when I was 13. I skipped 2 periods, even being on a lower dose hormone but then when I got it, it was only 2 days but it was a massive amount of blood. The cramps lasted about 2 weeks. I got sick.
My hormone are pretty crazy now too. I'm on a stronger pill now but the pain is getting worse.
