is it the iud or???

i got paragaurd back in feb and whenever my so and i have sex my left side (i assume my ovary) starts to hurt when we are in doggy position. at first its just a little uncomfortable and very distracting then it just gets worse and worse until i cant take it anymore. it also feels like he will hit something occasionally when im on top. but that doesnt hurt just also distracting.

what could this be? should i go get it checked out?? i got it from planned parenthood and feel like if i go there ill just play their waiting game for 3 hours and with a 8 month old isnt very easy. and i dont feel like they really show interest.

You might have a cyst on your ovary..

They would do an ultrasound. And pain in the area of your ovaries is a symptom, but that doesn't mean that's what is wrong. You would just have to get it checked out.

Thats what my dr told me. I have Mirena, have had it for 14 or so months now. I had a cyst on my ovary. Its pretty common when you have an IUD- or so they told me. They will do an Ultrasound, and an exam. the exam, will tell them if your tender to touch (which indicates that you have a cyst or that somethings not in place or idk... lol)

An ultra sound can tell if you do or not. I had a severe pain on my ovary a few weeks ago and an ultra sound showed that I had a ruptured cyst on it. It hurts like hell!

It's common to get them with mirena because of the hormones, but not paragard since it has no hormones. But, cysts aren't always something to get all worried about. It may be nothing big at all...you never know. I wouldn't worry til you see what a doctor says.

ughhh.!!! does planned parenthood do this test? my previous insurance expired shortly after i had my lo and now i cant go see my regular obgyn since they dont take medical

what about HPV??? at my 6 week check up i was told that it came pack positive for hpv. could this cause any pain?

They may be able to look at it for you. I'm sure they could at least make sure it wasn't causing you issues because the IUD moved or something like that. If not, you may just need to find a doctor that does take your insurance.

ok. ill give pp a call tomorrow. and there are obgyns taht take my insurance its just they are all men. and idk how i feel about that. i have always had female doctors. :/

Hubby and I just had sex. We both climaxed and went for a second round but had to stop because I could feel it starting to tense up on me. Its kinda by my left hip bone. Idk maybe my muscles tensing up have anything to do with it???
