it would have been straying from the point if it (how many months) would have been all I posted about. I answered her question (although looking back I think I was half asleep because it was not a good answer) and threw in my two sense about the month thing. As I stated, it's my pet peeve that people don't get that...I don't know why, it just is.

Let me clear this up here ladies. My tits are leaking. I don't give a shit whether it's milk or pre milk, all I know is it was clear and now it's white, like milk in a jug...it's probably colostrum, we all know that...either way it's uncomfy and it sucks.

As far as the months, I don't give a shit how you want to count it, that's up to you. All I know is that I'm pretty much 27 and 1/2 weeks pregnant and I'm getting sliced open at either 38 or 39 weeks.

SO either way I have like 11wks and some change left and my boobies are leaky. I don't think the little details matter.

Perhaps you are trying to teach me something or give me information but you're not telling me anything I don't already know and they way you put it makes you sound like a condescending bitch. That's all that j0smitl3 was trying to say...I think she was just trying to be nice or politically correct about it. I really just don't care. Thanks for the correction, but that's not even what the post was about. SOOO maybe next time if you answer the question that is asked there won't be an issue.

There was no clarification needed on your part. you asked a question and I tried to help which is what more than what most would do. I'm sorry if it sounded condenscending....again, you don't know me so don't judge me. That was not my intention at all. As far as the counting thing, some people are just mislead, and again, I was sharing my knowledge and understanding in that area. If I wanted to be a condenscending bitch, I wouldn't have answered your original question, just shared my two cents about the months thing. The wink was there not as a condenscending thing, but as a JUST FYI, like I typed in the first place. Take it as you will. I know what it was.

I don't need to know you to judge you. I'm telling you how I felt you came across to me. this site is great because you put in your due date and it will tell you weeks or months, whichever you choose. It also explains why doctors use 40 weeks and the whole nine months vs ten (lunar) months thing.

Another thing to do is to count how many months you are from your due date, and subtract it from 9. So if you are in due in August, you are three months from your due date, meaning you are 6 months pregnant (as in completed 6 months of your pregnancy), or in your seventh month (not yet completed)

Use some breast pads to soak up the colostrum, and also what I use is the gel pads. They are so comfortable and take the pain away. Good Luck, but do NOT express the milk yet.

i am 22 weeks pregnant and ordered by dr to express because of the pain being so bad and this is not the first, with my daughter i was filling bottles at 6 months pregnant and freezing them. the cold compress just makes the pain worse because when the nipples harden it feels like someone is cutting your nipples off.... the warm compress will make you leak more but yes it doesn give you relief if there is alot of it just freeze it when froze right away it will stay good for 10 months. or you can also donate the expressed milk, which is what i am doing.... there are many organizations that need it badly. a good place is the orphaned by aids babies. did you know that just 2 ounces can feed a premature baby? talk to dr or midwife they will tell you it is completely safe to express.
