At the hospital...

With my 14 yr old, has had her period for 3 weeks. I took her to a walk in clinic first, doctor was worried that her blood cell count was too low and she might need a transfusion so he sent us to Sick Kids Hospital downtown.

Goodness! I hope all is well!

I had that happen when I went off the depo shot, they had to put me on birth control pill to get the bleeding to stop.

OMG thats sounds horrible.. Poor girl! I hope yous can have it sorted soon..

She has never been on birth control but im wondering if she needs to go on the pill to fix this.

Poor girl. I hope that she wont need a transfusion.

man in 2010 i had a period every other week for about 5 months each lasting 6-7 days.. had strep throat and they gave me a steroid injection and it messed my periods up

That happened to be when I was 11, yes 11, I had to take iron pills

I had that happen to me when I was 15, they ended up giving me a transfusion and putting me on BC to help stop the period and regulate it. I hope everything is sorted out soon.

I believe it, my daughter first got her period at 9

Oh i wont freak out, her dad is another story, he can be a major douche

I hope she's okay. Hopefully it's as simple as some BC pills to regulate her.
