You are making the best decision for yourself at this time of your life. Ignore the negatives, they aren't in your shoes.
All the best, I hope you have lots of support from family and friends.

please have someone supportive w/u after the procedures are done to monitor your progress & your recovery when its finished......physical healing will take awhile and you may need help doing things for a few days. Read up on all the info you can so that u will recognize ''normal'' after effects of the termination and be able to distiguish is something isnt right.

"Let's be very clear about this: when a woman finds herself pregnant due to violence and chooses an abortion, it is the violence that is the tragedy; the abortion is a blessing.
When a woman finds that the fetus she is carrying has anomalies incompatible with life, that it will not live and that she requires an abortion — often a late-term abortion — to protect her life, her health, or her fertility, it is the shattering of her hopes and dreams for that pregnancy that is the tragedy; the abortion is a blessing.
When a woman wants a child but can't afford one because she hasn't the education necessary for a sustainable job, or access to health care, or day care, or adequate food, it is the abysmal priorities of our nation, the lack of social supports, the absence of justice that are the tragedies; the abortion is a blessing.
And when a woman becomes pregnant within a loving, supportive, respectful relationship; has every option open to her; decides she does not wish to bear a child; and has access to a safe, affordable abortion — there is not a tragedy in sight — only blessing. The ability to enjoy God's good gift of sexuality without compromising one's education, life's work, or ability to put to use God's gifts and call is simply blessing." Rev. Katherine Ragsdale,President and Dean of Episcopal Divinity School
Good luck sweetheart <3 Remember no matter what anyone tells you, you are not a bad person and until they walk in your shoes no one should judge you

Good luck mama! I have not had one that late into pregnancy but I can imagine it's a very emotional and hard time for you.
I hope your sister can make herself available to help you with whatever you need after teh procedure, it's important to have someone who loves you at a time like that. If it is truly the best thing for you, then do not worry about what others say. No one has to know but you and your support. I don't blame you for not going with adoption.
Ignore the naysayers, adoption is not worth the pain or trouble.

I wish you the best....And as long as you are sure what u wanna do then it is the best decision. I recently found out I was pregnant at 20 weeks... I was confused and unsure of what to do ecspecially finding out that late. So I had no time to deal or think about it..really. When I found out I made an appointment at a clinic and went for the initial appt. The initial appt consisted of u/s, blood work and paper work. They explained everything to me and I was scheduled the following week due to the Dr. being out of town and that my procedure would take 4 days. Due to various reasons (financial, medical, personal, lack of support) I did not have the procedure done. I just wanted to say I wish you the best...and stay strong...If you need to talk to anyone message me...

This must have been a tough decision for you, I considered abortion at 19 weeks with my first... Obviously didn't go through with it, but I had the appointment set and everything. I hope you have the support you need <3

I had an abortion at 20 weeks gestation. my reasoning isn't as simple as most however. the abortion was a 2 day procedure and I almost didn't go through with it. I am glad some days that I did, other days, not so much. everyone is different though. I was also your age when I had my abortion. if you want to read my story from the day of my abortion to the reasoning behind it you're more then welcome to here.
