Mixing Formula.

When will I be able to mix formula with like rice or cereal? I think those are the ones, lol.

Um, you shouldn't. Ever. Not unless your baby has reflux and your doctor ordered it.

to spoon feed them or are you talking about actually mixing it in with their bottle? if you mean bottle.. then never unless recommended by your pedi if your child has some sort of acid reflux or other problem

Around 6 months you can safely start introducing food to your LO. But never in the bottle. Baby could choke easily.

Yeah, this. But her baby is a month old, so not anytime soon!

I always waited until around 5 months to introduce cereal, and that was only using a bowl and spoon. Never give cereal in a bottle unless the dr tells you too.

Your never supposed to feed cereal in a bottle. You can start mixing formula in his cereal to spoon feed around 4-6 months. I think they try to tell you closer to 6 months though.

I would hope not, but you never can be too sure.

no, I'm not considering it now. I know he's too young for it.

just like they all said with a spoon never a bottle. also it is worth the wait on feeding solids. and just think the more you push off having solids the less super stinky diapers you will get.

Do it when the doctor says , my sons 4 months and i got the ok for solids , im spanish we usually do stuff early

I started introducing my kids to solids when they were 4 months...

my baby is 4 months and got cereal at 3 and a half months,she now gets baby food.
